"Just returned from a two-day stint with Capt. Mike out of Marathon, and I cannot say enough about his expertise, his professionalism and his overall approach.
Upon booking, we explained that we were both good casters, and experience fly anglers, but that we had not done any flats fishing. Mike explained to us that there were fish around, but that "trophies," that is tarpon, bones and permit were not quite in season. We spent two incredible days fishing the Everglades and the flats in the southern Keys. Mike took the time to help us perfect the technique needed to present to cruising fish, and continually made suggestions as to how we could do better. He was patient, fun, and a serious source of information on the area. Everywhere we went, we caught fish, and he was not afraid to move to get us to the next spot. Capt. Mike is an asset to the industry and a great representative of Orvis. I could not have been happier."
