"My sons and I have fished all over the world and Joe.D is the best guide we've ever used. We have used him for 19 years and each trip is a fishing adventure. "My son and I booked two trips the last week of August. One full day and a second evening float trip. Both trips were exceptional. Not only did we catch fish but learned a lot about the area and techniques. Joe has a wealth of knowledge not only about fishing but also the history and ecology of the area. The evening float trip was a great time to be on the river. Peaceful and productive! Numerous trout were feeding on Iso's and BWO's and with Joe's advice we were able to fool many of them into eating our flies. The largest was a rainbow of just under 19" that my son brought to the net."

"I have been fishing with Joe for 7 years now. Nobody knows the waters like Joe. Each year he points out new things and always puts us on fish. I am amazed that with the growing popularity of the river, Joe takes us to parts that are off the beaten path to make out trip more successful and enjoyable. Would highly recommend his services."

"Its all about the experience that Joe creates on each float that makes him special. For the past 10 years my best friend and I use him every year to trout fish on the Delaware. He always seems to amaze me with every trip on the stream. When other guides are stricking out he always gets us on fish. His passion for the sport is contagious. I highly recommend him and look forward to our next float."

"Joe is the consummate professional! I hadn't fished the Delaware for almost a decade, when a friend (never fly-fished) asked if I could introduce him to the sport. I immediately thought of Joe, his experience, legendary guiding abilities, patience and joy of bringing new people to the sport. Our day on the water with Joe (middle Upper Delaware) started out with a casting lesson for my buddy, then a trip down the river which we'll both never forget. To watch a pal land a 20", hard fighting brown trout, never having fished the Upper Delaware was amazing! We're starting to plan a father-son trip for next year with our sons - and Joe. Wouldn't think of floating with anyone else!"

"When you fish with Joe you can guarantee that he'll work hard, make you laugh, feed you well, and of course put you on the big fish.

"I have fished with guides before and none compare to Joe. I learned more about the upper Delaware in one day than all the years I have been fly fishing!
Thanks to his hard work I had a great day on the water and landed a personal best, a 22" wild brown.
Top knotch gear, knowledgeable, and friendly. A true Professional.
