"My family has been fishing with Capt Brian for the past 3 years. From the first time we met I knew Brian and I would be spending lots of time on the water. His custom 23 ft NorthCoast is comfortable, safe and meticulously maintained. Brian is extremely knowledgeable, easy going and great guy to share a boat with. I've had some of my best days on the water with him even when the fish weren't cooperating. So far he is responsible for personal best for myself, my wife and our young son. The boy takes Capt. Brian's word as law and Brian is a patient teacher. Looking forward to the first trip of the 2013 season and many more to come."

"Book this guy and you will catch fish! I have done 3 charters, each different and hit fish every time. I did a striper trip, tuna, and albie and had great experiences every time. Brian is very knowledgable for fresh or salt water and clearly has a Passion for the sport."

"I wanted to take may teenage daughter striper fishing in RI, and I found Captain Patterson on You-tube. He seemed like a nice guy I'd like to fish with, and I was correct on all counts. He communicated clearly through booking and planning, he accommodated my needs and he proved to be reliable, timely, fun and tuned into his fishery. He had everything we needed for a successful day. Great boat, great equipment, and a well-executed plan. We had tons of fun, caught some really nice fish, I learned a lot, and my daughter caught her largest ever striper."

"I had the opportunity to take my 2 boys (11 and 7) on our first fishing trip while visiting Jamestown, RI. My oldest son was little nervous on getting out into the open water and Brian was very considerate of that. Before we even stepped foot on the boat Bryan reviewed all the safety procedures with us and made us feel safe and welcome. He was accommodating and made sure we all had a great time. Not only was he a great captain, fisherman, and bait-replacement guy, he was a great photographer! He took some great pictures of me and the kids catching fish. He helped us create some great memories and we had a fun experience that we will not forget. I, along with the boys am excited about making Patterson Guide Service part of our annual trip to Rhode Island."

"I had my first day of fly fishing for albies with Brian Patterson. He was exactly what I would have envisioned an Orvis guide to be: professional, meticulous, knowledgeable, and a great personality. His preparation and knowledge of the waters, tackle, and fish made the day relaxing and his personality and enthusiasm really added to the trip. It was like have another buddy on board with us. Brian put us on fish (I caught my first three albies!) and his excitement for us was genuine. I look forward to my next trip and heartily recommend Brian."
