"I had the opportunity to fish with Capt. Aron Cascone during the Cinder Worm hatch in Ninigret Pond, Charlestown, RI last weekend. Capt. Cascone runs Constant Angler sportfishing charters. He is a young, enthusiastic guide who definitely knows what it takes to to help clients succeed while fishing the coastal waters of Rhode Island and Block Island.
I was very impressed with the quality of his gear: an immaculate 17' Maverick HPX flats boat for fishing the coastal ponds and a beautiful 22' Contender for fishing offshore. The rods and tackle were also top notch. It was clear that Capt. Cascone takes his business very seriously and has made a significant investment to make sure his clients have a first class experience.
The fishing was also top notch! We hit the water around 4:30 PM and saw Stripers boiling as they worked the worm hatch. There were plenty of other boats around but it seemed we (and Aron's dad who fished separately in his own boat) were the only ones having any success! Over the next few hours we landed 10 bass in the 18-28" range. Capt. Cascone skillfully worked a number of spots demonstrating his tremendous knowledge of Ninigret Pond. I'd never been able to get Stripers to strike anything when a worm hatch was underway but Capt. Cascone has developed a technique that consistently delivers results! It was a great experience and I would recommend Captain Cascone/Constant Angler to any serious fisherman without reservation! I hope to book another trip with him to fish Block Island next month!"
