"My dad, my brother, and I had been talking for years about learning to fly fish. We found Brian's listing and signed up for multi-day clinic with him. It couldn't have been a better experience.
His instruction was enjoyable and practical. He didn't dwell too long on any particular point and made the learning exercises really fun.
Brian also made sure that we were out on the water the very first day. He continued the instruction in the field and his tips and adjustments were spot on.
With Brian, we toured to a wide variety of spots in the Truckee-Tahoe area and were able to get exposed to a number of different fishing techniques and approaches. He also gave us the very best gear to use during our time with him.
All told, we each caught dozens of fish and shared a lot of laughs. Brian's easygoing personality made this trip beyond memorable and we will definitely be working with him again soon."

"my son and i are just starting out...when i met Brian he asked what i hoped to get out of this....i said i would like to have the focus be on the learning teaching and the experience...if we catch fish all the better...Brian taught us the a-z's of mathcing the bugs...reading a river...how and where to cast...and the patience and time he spent with my son was pricless...we willbe back...
