Additional Thoughts:VERY INFORMATIVE
"FROM MY FIRST PHONE CONVERSATION WITH ROB I KNEW HE WAS OUR GUY. MY WIFE AND I ARE BOTH FIRST TIME FLY FISHERMEN AND MY WIFE WAS A LITTLE INTIMIDATED. ROB EXUDED A CALM CONFIDENCE IN HIS ABILITY TO INSTRUCT US BOTH IN A MANNER THAT WAS SURE HAVE US LOVING THE EXPERINCE IN A VERY SHORT TIME. HE MADE GOOD ON HIS CLAIMS, AND WITHIN A COUPLE OF HOURS WE WERE CATCHING TROUT ON THE RIVER. HE PATIENTLY CONTINUED TO SHARE HIS KNOWLEDGE THROUGHOUT THE DAY. SUBSUQUENTLY, OUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE ART OF FLY FISHING GREW AS THE DAY WENT ON. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE...TO SNEAK UP ON TROUT ON OUR FIRST ATTEMPT WAS REMARKABLE! ROB WAS INFORAMTIVE AND PATIENT. HIS COMPANY WAS ENJOYABLE AND THE RIVER SIDE LUCH WAS TOO. I WOULD HAVE BOOKED TWO FULL DAYS HAD I KNOWN WHAT A GREAT TIME WE WOULD HAVE. THANKS ROB!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO BUY MY FIRST FLY ROD AND TO RETURN TO EAST TENNESEE FOR ANOTHER DAY TRIP...OR TWO."

"Rob is an absolutely incredible guide and I would recommend him to anyone. One cannot help but notice that it doesn't take Rob long to gauge an angler's skill level and then proceed accordingly. I didnt think it was possible to learn as many new useful skills and ways to fish in one day as I did. Rob also provides delicious homemade stream side lunch for the full day trips, which we enjoyed thoroughly! I would recommend fishing with Rob to anyone who enjoys flyfishing. Not only is he a world class fishing guide but he provides excellent company. You really get the feeling that youve been friends with him forever. I look forward to another day of fishing with Rob. With all of the different waters and various species he covers I am sure no trip will ever be the same!"

"Despite some tough mid-August conditions, Rob had me into fish all day. By request, we began the day early, fishing some lower elevation spots for wild browns and did much better than expected, catching a couple of exceptional Summer trout, including a trophy 24 inch 6 lber! As the morning wore on, as planned, we moved to higher elevations and were steadily into rainbows and brookies till I had to call it quits for the day. In addition to his knowledge of the fishing and the mountains, Rob was extremely accomodating and friendly, making for great company on the water. The trip surpassed all expectations. (And the lunch was great too!) In my opinion, Rob is first class all the way!"
