For three decades Pine Shadows has been proving its English Spring Spaniels while guiding hunts in the Midwest's prairie pothole region. Their signature hunting estate, Pine Shadows Daybreak, encompasses 10 square miles of Dakota prairie traversed by 7-1/2 miles of the historic Elm River. In the early 19th century the Hudson Bay Company operated its southernmost fur post here, while over 100 years ago the first Chinese Ring-necked pheasants released in South Dakota occurred here. Now and abundant game population resides including wild turkey, sharp-tail grouse, puddle ducks, and pheasants. You and your sporting friends are invited to "Meet at Daybreak".
