Eagle Nest Lodge, MT
Eagle Nest Lodge was built along the banks of the Bighorn River in 1985 and has been serving the most discerning clientele since. In 1986 it was chosen among the first group of lodges to receive an endorsement from the Orvis Company for fly-fishing excellence and wingshooting and won the coveted Fly-Fishing Lodge of the year in 2007.

"Ive been coming to Eagles Nest Lodge for several years with customers. We are never disappointed with the fishing, hunting or accommodations. This year 2012 was the best ever for both hunting and fishing. John and Rebecca are the most gracias and accommodating hosts.Very genuine and warm. The food is 4 star guides and other staff are excellent. Overall an A+ experience."

Additional Thoughts:John's personality is off the charts. Great guide but an even better person.
"Our group has visited the Eagle Nest for the past couple of years and we unanimously agree that it would almost impossible to find ways to improve upon the experience. The bird hunting was outstanding and having John as our guide was absolutely fantastic!! Evenings at the lodge are laid-back and tremendously enjoyable. He and Rebecca are top-notch!"

"I have been going to Eagle Nest for Fishing several years now and we added a Hunting day to this last September 2012 trip. It was unbelievable. John and Rebecca were - as usual - incredibly accommodating and the Hunting was fantastic. The dogs were amazing and the birds were flying. Not to mention the best fishing I have ever seen. Could not recommend more highly."

"The trip was absolutely wonderful. The staff made you feel right at home, the food was absolutely execellent and it just better from there. The wingshooting was very good both hunters limited on pheasant within a hour, we missed out on a limit of Sharptailed Grouse by one bird and if we were better shots we would of limited on the Hungarian Partridge by noon also!"
