Challhuaquen is a fly fishing lodge located right on the Rio Grande River in the middle of Patagonia, and it's one of the more luxurious facilities in the Esquel - Trevellin fly fishing region. Like the best of the Argentine fishing lodges, this Argentina fly fishing lodge has a variety of water from the big, floatable Rio Grande (known as the Futalufeu after it crosses the border into Chile and becomes the most famous challenging whitewater river flowing into the Pacfic) to Arroyo Pescado spring creek, where you can take trout on dry flies most days throughout the season. This is a place where you can choose to wade, fish from the bank, or float, depending on your personal preference, and you can do some of each even on a short stay.
