"Hello Orvis, actually my wife is the reason for the fact we ordered two sweaters, I have been. wearing the same orvis sweater for about 15 years. I loved the sweater so much it had numerous holes in it. I could not part with it because it was so comfortable. Sadly my wife decided to throw my beloved blue sweater away because she was upset to see me wear such a worn item. Not all was lost tho because for Christmas this year she presented me with the new version of the wonderful blue sweater. I was so happy that I ordered the same one in brown. I'm a loyal orvis fan."

"Great sweater, accurate fit, very comfotable, roomy, medium weight, terrific "coffee" color - although a bit darker than the catalog picture and not quite as much of a "washed look" - and super soft cotton, almost feels like chenille as noted by another reviewer. Very pleased with this purchase and recommend it highly."

"Received this sweater as a gift. It was a medium--the size I wear for everything. I am medium build and very fit--5'10, 170 lbs. I have had lots of problems with the fit of Orvis clothing--they're cut very full to accommodate larger builds than mine.
This sweater in a medium is huge in the body. I reordered a small, which fits in the body, but has sleeves that are about two inches too short.
Quality of Orvis products has been great, so no issues there.
Unfortunately, I will be returning this sweater as well. I probably am going to give up on Orvis clothing unless I can try it on first."

"The good looking sweater is a hugh hit with the younger generation. My son in law has already worn it twice and as cold weather has closed in on the mid-south it turned out to be a great gift which will be put to good use. Very functional and great looking."

"This appears to be a good product...it's fairly light for under a sport coat and that's what I wanted. I'm not used to wearing turtlenecks, so will have to adjust a bit. Not bad at all."

"Very high quality sweater, great color and cut to it. Very warm and comfortable fit. Not to tight in the arms which many colths designers think are comfortable but are not. Orvis makes very function and comfortable cloths."

"This is a really nice garment. I'm happy wearing it. Note that it runs a little big. If you order your usual size, it may be very spacious in the body and the sleeves may be a bit long. I may have been happier going one size down (but since I haven't tried the larger one on, I don't know that for sure)."

"This sweater is very soft to the touch. As with most Orvis products, you really need to read the reviews to get a sense of true sizing but this sweater is sized just right. Mine came a lot more "blue" than I expected. I thought it was going to be more stonewashed but it still looks good with a collared shirt and jeans. For me, the only concern is the pricepoint. If you can get it on sale, this is a 5 star sweater."
