Buy This, You Won't Be Disappointed,
October 8, 2012
By: PghPensFan

"As usual with Orvis, their products are quality. If you have leather seats, this cover won't slide around. Has gripping material on the underside, plus 'rubber handles' that you shove down in between the seat back and seat bottom to hold it in place. Many other products don't have non slip backing, nor several key features that keep the cover firmly in place. This may cost you more, but the old adage "you get what you pay for" is truly appropriate in this case! My sister still owns one of these for her two dogs that ride in her car, and after many years it's still like new."

"I would highly recommend this product if you have a dog that rides in the car. Our dog gets car sick (even on very short trips) and the micro-fabric is easily spot cleaned. The large fits the back seat of my Tahoe perfectly."

"I have a 2012 VW Passat - Purchased the Large, easy to set up the velour with quilted bottom in order to keep the backseat free of Boxer dog-hair. Also, easy to take off for two-legged guests."

Very happy with this cover !!,

"Ok, so i only had my dog in the backseat once so far,but i can tell already this cover is great. I bought the XL for my honda ridgeline truck, and it fits the backseat great. The rubber handles keep the seat part in place, and the corner straps down and tight. I was able to thread the corner straps thru the floor hooks on my truck, so he cover stays in place. A tad pricy, but so much better than the $20 cover i had in my truck before."

"I've been buying Orvis dog products for 12 years. This backseat protector, like all their products, is well made. I'm disappointed, however, in the color. My first 2 backseat covers were a magnificent green tapestry design and a beautiful softly striped beige and brown. The last 2 covers (this one and one purchased 3 years ago) are an unattractive beige and tan. I wish the Orvis buyer would go back to considering the aesthetics as well as the physical characteristics. Dogs may be color blind, but humans are not."

Great Protector,
April 23, 2013
By: Fortie

"The backseat protector seems to be very durable, has a rubberized type of lining to keep from shifting and is very soft and cushioned to keep the pooch comfortable. It's a universal type of fit, but it worked well in the back seat of our Liberty. We are please with this product and would recommend it to anyone needing to protect their back seat from a dog."

Backseat Driver,
April 17, 2013
By: 4jakemydog

"The backseat protector is perfect when your four legged friend is your back seat driver. I would have liked to have had written instructions in with the protector as there are straps I am not using and wonder if I should be using them. The quality is excellent and it is comfortable for the rider and protects the seat well."

"Fits back seat of F-250 crew cab perfectly. Doesn't move around on leather at all, even with 100 lb lab. Stays clean and super easy install. Bottom elastic bands have a buckle so you can adjust how tight it fits to the seat. Awesome"

Best seat cover for my dog I've found,
April 11, 2013
By: Mema2
from Fayetteville, Ga
"My husband and I both have purchased other seat covers for our son, who's 95 lbs and extremely furry but they would slide on our leather bench seat. The one I purchased from Orvis was easy to install, has good padding and the backing prevents it from sliding. I purchased the larger size and it covers my back seat great. I'll be ordering a second one for my husbands car!"

"This fits my Toyota Highlander perfectly. It doesn't shift when a big dog gets in and stays in place during a ride. It seems to be very durable. I have not washed it yet, but do expect it to launder well."

Best car seat protector on the market,
April 2, 2013
By: Southerncomfort

"We searched high and low for a good backseat protector - this is it!!! The quality is good, it really stays in place and the price isn't bad...We were expecting a little more "cushion" on the seating area (based on the photo & the only reason for just 4 stars) but we put a light blanket on top for some added comfort."

Great product but needs instructions,

"The quality of this seat cover is excellent. It fits well in my 5 series BMW although the part that hangs to the floor is a little long for my lower back seat. I could have benefited from some simple instructions/diagrams to see exactly how the seat belts work with it. Overall very satisfied."

"This item in a large but not extra large size is just right in a BMW 3series wagon. The latches are just like the ones on most dog leashes and quickly attach the item to the back seat. Couldn't be easier."

Best seat protector out there,
March 26, 2013
By: lopin817
"Slightly more expensive than other seat protectors but well worth the money. I purchased the large and it fits perfect in a Toyota Corolla or Chevy Cruze. Used on both cloth and leather seats and it works fabulous. Does not come with instructions but easy enough to figure out. Love the flaps over seat belt to prevent hair from falling through. Extra cushy on seat portion. Perfect for my hairy golden retriever. he really seems to like it and i like that I can easily remove to reveal hair free seats! 2 thumbs up!"

MUCH room for improvement.,
March 19, 2013
By: umt98
from Westfield, NJ
"I had high hopes for this protector after researching them extensively and speaking to two Orvis customer service reps. Unfortunately, the bedding material closest to the door does not provide near enough coverage for my seat. Every time my pup jumps in, she knocks back the protector and lands on the seat itself. The straps that Orvis supplies to secure the sides are totally inadequate for my car. The designer's should have put much more thought into this product.
Still recommending it, but there is MUCH room for improvement."
