Not Heavyweight!,
November 9, 2011
By: PHL1
"I had expected this baselayer top to be a "heavyweight". However, It was the thinnest material I have worn and had to return the top because it offered no protection from cold weather. I hoped that Orvis would have offered a high quality product in this case but they failed."

Review 5 for Shoulder Season Layering System (25°- 50°)
"I used to use some long underwear when fishing conditions were unfavorable, but this year I decided to go steelheading and wasn't sure that would cut it. I'm so glad I purchased these. They kept me dry and warm underneath my waders with another layer on top of them. I even tried them by themselves in warmer weather under my waders and they did the job nicely. They're going to be a mainstay in fishing checklist before departing on any trips in the future. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a solution to keep them warm and dry under their waders."

"I bought this at your tent sale and it was especially good in price. It makes a great first layer in cool weather under other garments. Very light weight, but effective."
