Quilted Primaloft Jacket

Perfect for layering under your waterfowl or upland jacket in cold weather. Quilted with 4-oz. patented Primaloft® insulation that helps your body retain warmth and conserve energy, is as warm as down, compressible, and breathable. The jacket has rib-knit matching cuffs and collar. Snap front closure. Interior adjustable waist. Two tricot-lined handwarmer pockets; one interior pocket. Pre-curved sleeve for optimum fit. Jacket packs down into its own interior pocket. Locker loop. In pine. Hand wash. Imported.Sizes: M(38-40), L(42-44), XL(46-48), XXL(50-52).

Great without the bulk,

"My husband just had to have this jacket. It comes down in the behind and is not bulky, so riding in the car is a lot more comfortable and here in MN we could wear a lot of clothes."

What I've come to expect from Orvis,
December 26, 2012
By: clarkieclark
"Their product stylists are top notch, making everything look so well-made in the catalogs and online. However, as with a number of recent Orvis products, the real item has failed to live up to the quality represented in the product photography. This item is of average quality, the material around the cuffs took all of two days to become stretched out and no longer elastic. So, the sleeves now drop down over my hands, making this a very ineffective garment for outdoor activities. The Primaloft is very warm, no doubt, but the floppy sleeves just won't do..."

Super Medium jacket,

"Worn similar type garment while in military. Orvis has done a great job at building this jacket. Would not change a thing--keep the quality exactly as is. Well designed and thought out. Works great as advertised as a mid-layer under a waterproof shell."

A Hunting we will go...,

"Looking for a light weight coat liner that could double as a jacket. This coat has proven to be very comfortable, warm and easy to wear all by itself. Didn't know what to expect knowing this was not a fleece product. Will definitely recommend to my hunting buddies."

"This jacket is very light in weight and very warm. I use it alone as well as for layering in extreme cold weather. It fits easily under most outer shell jackets."

GREAT JACKET!,
January 25, 2012
By: Dendraw
from Los Angeles, CA.
"I went back & forth between this jacket and a couple of others and read through the reviews to make sure I was making the right choice for me (if's a little pricey for a light weight jacket). However, I've gotta say that I am completely satisfied with this jacket. I made sure to get a size up and the fit is perfect! Yes the material is light, but the insulation really does keep your body nice and warm! One little surprise that I missed in the features is that it folds into it's own pocket/pouch! GREAT feature for traveling! The ONLY bad thing I can say is that NOW it's on sale!!! So get it now....it's a better price!"

great jacket,
January 4, 2012
By: JBAL
from online
"The most comfortable jacket I've ever owned! It feels to be premium quality. Initially I thought that no zipper would be an issue, but the 5 snaps worked great and I think I would prefer it without a zipper after wearing it. I wish there were other color choices like black. The only reason I gave this jacket 4 stars was because it's hand wash only. Who wants to hand wash anything???
This was my first purchase from Orvis and I was impressed with the quaility of the jacket, the website and fast shipping. I signed up as a new subscriber, but was not given the new subscriber discount after purchasing which was disappointing.

Light, Comfortable, and Warm,
December 18, 2011
By: Shooter60
"I was looking for a quilted jacket to replace the bulky coat that I use on my annual Scotland bird shoot and this one filled the bill. After receiving it I was afraid it would be too light for Scotland's cold, wet, windy mornings, but it was perfect. It was light, roomy, and comfortable and even kept me warm and dry in the light rain and occasional sleet. It also lives up to Orvis quality. Now back in the States, I wear it every morning while walking the dog. It is a great addition to my winter wear."

Not the Answer,
November 3, 2011
By: mdwstshopper
from NE Wisconsin
"I bought for my husband to replace a long-loved quilted down field jacket (that belonged to my father!). But he promptly declined due to the fabric, which is polyester of the slippery/shiny sort, and which he's very leery of due to it's tendency to get caught and rip, or to melt if too close to something very hot. The old jacket was a mid-weight cotton canvas."

Great jacket,
September 20, 2011
By: joeindc
from Washington DC area
"I purchased this jacket about two years ago and use it quite often when I don't need a real heavy jacket, and a light jacket just isn't enough. This jacket fills the need of being inbetween the heavy and light catagory. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is for the lack of zipper in the front. It would have been a very useful addition and made this jacket almost perfect for the inbetween catagory."

Lightweight & Warm,

"I wanted a lightweight and warm garment to wear as a layer under an uninsulated hunting coat. Fits great and doesn't hinder my movement. Looks good as the top layer too."
