"I bought this shirt specially for travel/holidays and I'm delighted with it.
The material feels soft and comfortable and the colour means it will go with almost any outfit.
The double chest pockets are very useful for the odds and ends you always seem to collect when travelling (eg. boarding cards) and the button fastening means they will be secure.
If Orvis produces this shirt in other colours, I will almost certainly buy them."

"I bought one about a year ago, and I have now bought a second, even though it had to be the same colour. What greater compliment could I give the shirt? It washes and dries easily when on holiday, and looks smart whilst being a leisure shirt. It is a perfect fit and comfortable.
Please add a choice of colour!"

"The shirt is sized too large. Normally I take an Orvis large. I have to return the large for a medium. The basting stitches on the large were just hanging on the shirt. While it would appear to be less than Orvis quality, I will withhold final judgement until the medium arrives."

"Purchased shirt from local Orvis retailer and returned for a refund as the shirt was defective. The elbows of the shirt wore away to expose the structural thread (black) and the collar began to fray. Because I didn’t retain the receipt and the shirt was no longer available (blue) and after paying $79, I received a gift card of $46 as compensation...far from 100% satisfaction. Even though that shirt was not available I (we) should be offered something comparable."

"I have purchased several versions of the Presidential Microfober Travel Shirts from Orvis over the last 5-7 years. They have served me well on trips to the EU and to Asia, and the single one that developed some premature fabric wear problems was promptly replaced by Orvis when I brought this to customer service attention.
This latest release of the shirt meets every improvement point that I had hoped for in the Presidential Travel Shirt. 1. The fabric in this latest version is even softer to the hand, as the result of a higher Lyocell content in the blend. 2. The former button down collar has been replaced with a nice spread collar, which I much prefer for travel. 3. The former single, open pocket has been upgraded with two nice flap-closed pockets. (More secure for travel.) Bravo! Am taking my new shirt as my primary long-sleeved shirt on a trip to the Netherlands next week....
Please bring this latest version of the Presidential Microfiber Travel Shirt out in additional color/pattern selections. I'll buy more!"

"This shirt is good-looking, easy-care, and feels smooth against the skin when you put it on. It is a surprisingly warm shirt, though, and the rayon/poly fabric is not especially breathable. Because it is so smooth, it does not stay tucked in. Even worse, if you are not perfectly fit and wearing hip-huggers, you will need suspenders to keep your trousers up."

"Exceptionally comfortable, very roomy - just what you need for travelling, not tight in the armpits. Lovely drape and does not appear to crease. Yes, it is a casual shirt and not one I'd wear to work, but for travelling it does exactly what it sets out to do. This is the first microfiber shirt I ahve bought - would definitely buy again if in the sale!"
