Tarpon Toad
The origins of the Tarpon Toad are as varied as the anglers who claim to have invented it. But the main fact is, the Toad is a great tarpon fly and has a history of success in a number of fisheries. A good fly to have in your box when you're headed south for tarpon. In chartreuse, purple, red/black. Sizes 1/0. Length 3", 3½".

"This is a typical Tarpon Toad pattern made with quality materials and a good hook. I prefer to use the 1/0 size which is easier to cast and fish do not shy away from. Chartreuse is the classic color for this pattern for clear water, but I think the others will work well in dirtier water. It is not a dificult pattern to tie yourself, but purchasing a few of these is the easy way to stock up and have an example to pattern after."
