Size Matters,
May 10, 2013
By: Rugby2868
from Greenvale, New York
"Almost every order I place that includes pants have got to be returned because they don't fit. Satisfaction Guaranteed? How many times do I have to pay for shipping? Returns to a store is always the same. Either they don't carry that item or they are out of that size. I have to think about future on-line orders from your company"

Size Matters,
May 10, 2013
By: Rugby2868

"Every time I order pants the size is always different. Returns even to the store seems to cost me money for shipping. (Store doesn't carry this item. Store doesn't have this size) Satisfaction guarantee isn't guaranteed. I try to buy my clothes on-line because I have arthritis and it's easier to try them on at home, but with such variations in sizing I will have to think twice about future orders"

Excellent and comfortable,

"I am sure that Orvis knows that these are the World's Most Comfortable. I can't vouch for that but they are very comfortable, tailored well and have a great look and feel. The "Sage" color is really attractive."

Returned 2 pairs of these,
April 16, 2013
By: Kegofnails
from Kansas City area
"Waist off at least 2 inches. Had to return 2 pair for credit. Would not order these again. Also, kind of "flimsy" and not up to Orvis standards in my opinion. Own many pairs of Orvis pants, like them all, except these."

Standards,
April 4, 2013

"Ordered 42" waist size.
The Most comfortable Sage trousers made in Sri Lanka measured 41" waistline and were too tight. These have been replaced with 44" waist but again these measured 43" and are snug they would be no good for someone who wanted a 44" waist pair. Why are they made 1" smaller than the published waist size they are intended for?

Acceptable Travel Chinos,
April 2, 2013
By: NASAR8
from Santa Cruz Mountains, CA
"These chinos are light weight and acceptable for warm/hot destinations. They required a lot of trimming of long threads which accounted the loss of one star."

Great chinos,
December 7, 2012
By: Marleana
from Greencastle, PA
"My husband loves these pants. I buy several pairs for him every year.
They stay fresh and unwrinkled even if he wears them all day. They never fray. The only problem we have had with the pants is the buttons.
They inevitably break. We have sent the pants back to have the buttons replaced, but the pants came back with the same buttons replacing the old ones. My husband loves the pants so much that he puts up with the bad buttons.

"Somebody finally got all the dimensions right for me. I'm tall and fit, do not need any extra space in the thighs, but do need a long stride. Most comfortable pants I've ever worn, and they look great."

Comfortable - Maybe,
October 17, 2012
By: Orlando2
from California
"I have purchased other clothing from Orvis and have been quite pleased. Unfortunately, for the Most Comfortable Cotton-Blend Chinos, the story is different. As soon as I opened the package, I questioned the quality of the material and then the construction. In short, I was disappointed with the look, material, and cuffs of the Chinos."

VERY comfortable warm weather trousers,
September 27, 2012
By: aas55

"To increase from 4 Stars to 5, I hope that one day Orvis will modify the design of the zipped side pocket so that the zip is set in higher and is sown in so that there is no obstruction within the pocket. THEN it would be a really useFUL travel security feature instead of being currently useLESS!"

Disappointed,

"Although these slacks are very comfortable, I found they do require ironing. It's been quite sometime since I've heard of having to "hang to dry" a pair of chinos."
