"This little guy is amazing. Worked great when the river was a bit high due to an interesting October snow storm. Gets down to where the fish are quick."

"I've been using this fly, and the soft hackle pheasant tail tunghead, since Orvis introduced them a number of years ago. They have worked very well for me from the brook trout streams of the Blue Ridge to the South Fork of the Snake in Idaho, and many places in between."

"I had a lot of success this fall with the tungsten soft hackle hares ear. The extra weight got the fly down to where the better fish were. First time I've ever used tungsten, I'll be getting more soon"
