"I like the drawstring style, color, and weight of the fabric, so I'm very disappointed that the Petite is much too long in the legs and crotch, and they cost too much for me to pay a seamstress to remake them."

"Comfort Denim Drawstring Pants and an EXTREMELY POOR substitute for the Vintage Denim Drawstring Pants that it looks like are being phased out. The color is way too light (so will fade way too fast) and the material is so lightweight and flimsy and "cheap". These are not an adequate Jeans substitute like the Vintage Denim Drawstring Pants were. I'll have to look elsewhere for my jeans is this is all that is now available. A shame."

"I really like the draw string and elastic waist but would prefer the jeans cut slimmer. The M has wider legs and is cut little bigger than the average medium.

"These jeans are soft, comfortable & fit perfectly. Love the drawstring waist especially since I am losing weight (finally) & this style waist makes them adjustable. Purchased one pair & after wearing, purchased two more. If I could change one thing, it would be to make the pockets deeper; you do have to be careful not to lose contents. However, all the positives outweigh the one negative, still adding up to a 5."

"bought these only by reading the reviews from others. I never thought I would be wearing jean type trousers. but they are very comfortable and quite stylish. Only criticism is that petite is still too long for me. I am 5'2" and needed to have them shortened, which was more expense."

"I bought these trousers to travel and was delighted with the quality of the fabric, soft against the skin, no pinching or flaws in stitching. The only thing that would make them fit better would be if the seat of the trouser was tapered in from the bottom to the back of the waistband as there is a bit of puckering in the small of the back if you are slim."

"Had avoided buying denim/denim look pants for several years due to some weight gain. These pants look close to a "jeans" look but are SO comfortalbe, don't seem to wrinkle and look dressy enough with a nice jacket. Great product, as usual, from Orvis."
