"My husband loves to wear vests and had found this in a beautiful sapphire blue but wrong size in a local store. Orvis' price was better and the brick red a good second choice. If you should carry the blue next year, I'll get that as well. The quality is superb!"

Great alternative to fleece vest,

"I bought one a year ago, and we like it so much, we bought a second one. This beautifully tailored vest gives a well- dressed look to my otherwise very down-home guy, The wool blend seems durable and keeps its shape in-spite of hard wear."

Review 3 for Ibex Scout Vest
Great Washable Wool Vest,
January 15, 2014
"Got the Ibex Scout vest for my husband for Christmas . I liked the color and design features and that it was not puffy like his other vests. Am very glad I read the reviews about sizing first, as it does run slim ! Customer service was very helpful on phone to get exact measurements so I could compare the large to a medium old wool vest of his. I ordered the Large and it fits him great, tho' a bit longer than a medium in the back waist , that is a good defense against cold drafts. The vest is a bit pricey, but as I pay $9 each time I get his other vests dry cleaned , this one will pay for itself in a couple years : )"
"Poor quality, sized ridiculously small and SO overpriced. My husband would wear an XL and I believe this vest had to have been mismarked. It was so tight and short and not typical Orvis quality. I was not happy even having to pay the return shipping charge for such a mess of a vest!"
