"Although I have loved tencel in the past the enclosed dry cleaning suggestion in the bag with these pants must be an after- the- fact disclaimer, because the interior label says hand wash. this is not as it should be for tencel. I also believe these pants to be very straight cut in the ratio between the wide waist and the comparatively narrow hip. I will return the pants, but I resent paying ten dollars to get them and an additional seven for the return."

"Very disappointed to receive these pants which fit fine but had a note sating best to dry clean! Totally impractical for a casual pant and should be mentioned in the catalog, both paper and on line. I have returned them."

"I bought both medium and large to try. Both were true to size but not appropriate to my age - 87. I don't do jeans but wanted comfortable casual pants. These look cheap, the fabric does wrinkle but may appeal to younger women over all."

"While the look and feel of these pants are fine, I was dismayed to see that, despite the description that appeared (and continues to appear) in the catalogue, these pants are NOT washable. At the very least, this information should be updated on-line and in the catalogues, so purchasers are aware of what they are buying."

"These jean pants are of good quality fabric and have a wonderfully soft feel whle still being substantial. They are the perfect weight- not too heavy or too light and are wrinkle resistant. They project a clean, neat appearance when on. I had to exchange my petite size for the regular as the petite has a shorter rise, but I was still happy to be able to obtain a pair of these most comfortable pants!"

"I recently purchased a pair of ladies blue jeans. The catalog description is so accurate and honest. The fabric is a blend of Tencel/Lyocell and washes in cold water, then when taken out of 15 minute dryer, I can hang to finish drying without an iron. The petite fit was so perfect, I did not have to shorten length and the elastic waist is exactly what I needed for comfort. I can fold the jeans and take them out of closet without wrinkles. Thank you Orvis for truth in advertising."
