"I really love the face of the watch. Really a great look with the blue face. My husband wishes the second hand moved on it's own and didn't just serve as a stop watch. The band is really high quality, I just wish it was a darker color. All-in-all, it was a good gift."

"Well, I have had this watch all of three weeks and must say that the looks are great (according to my wife), the feel is great (I typically hate wearing watches or other jewelry) and after being embedded in the snow it still keeps perfect time."

"As others have noted, the band seems a little thick and stiff out-of-the-box, but I treated the leather with mink oil, and it softened nicely. Like many good things made to last, it takes a little breaking in.
The watch makes me smile every time I look at it, both striking and elegant.
However, it came in a box with a manual for an LCD watch, and the chronograph, which worked once, no longer functions. I'll be visiting Orvis with it, and I'm sure they'll make it good.
Even if the chronograph didn't work, it is so good looking, I'd keep it anyhow!"

"The watch arrived timely and looks just as pictured. The face is unique, and the blue is reflective, but not to the point of glare. The band is very tan, so this would not be something to wear with dark clothes."

"Agree with others that watch is better than pictures depict. Band is fairly thick compared to any other band I've seen; color adds to the relaxed look. Watch is very formal & looks expensive(r)."

"I purchased the Blue Dial Chronograph watch this year. When I received it I was quite pleased with its looks. It is as advertised. This is a very sharp looking watch and I have received quite a few compliments. I have had no issues with the band and the fit is very comfortable. I would highly recommend this watch!"

"38mm face was to small for my wrist, but the disturbing part of this watch is the band. Not sure what kind of leather it is, looks more like 'pleather' to me. Also band is poorly designed, first strap band is to close to the buckle making it difficult to take on and off. I will be returning this watch."

"I purchased this watch for my husband who usually never wears leather bands. The color of the band is very classic and it was a great price. I had the back engraved with his initials as well. Nothing better than a man's wrist with a great watch!"

"I loved the look and wear of this watch when it arrived in the mail. But after one week of wearing the back of the watch that covers the inside fell off twice. Then one of the pins that hold the band to the watch kept falling off and I almost lost the watch. Overall this band and watch are beautiful and very classy by their looks but the quality seems to be subpar at best."

"Great looking watch ...but the band is a bit small had to return to the Sandanona Store.. I have always enjoyed Orvis products and apparel but this one didnt didn't quite make the grade..."
