CDC Mayfly Emerger
CDC is the perfect material for creating an emerger fly pattern and this is one of the best. Tied in a number of species colors and sizes, this fly pattern sits in the film with the body hanging down and the CDC feathers just above the surface, offering a great representation of an adult emerger. Don't be without this emerger fly pattern in early spring. Emerger available in sizes: Tan (14, 16), PMD (14, 16, 18), BWO (14, 16, 18).

"This pattern gets my vote for fly of the year. I have fished it during both the sulpher and caddis hatches here in New York with amazing results. Just dab the smallest amount of flotant on the CDC to stay in the surface film, dead drift and hold on! Thanks again Orvis "
