Worked as Intended,

"The fishing pole was used to catch fish, just it was intended to do. Photos available if you so desire. The pole I also purchased for my grandson at the same time also worked as intended. Seven years old, 10 Trout in four days !"
"This is the perfect ultra light outfit, paring the Shimano Sojourn 5’6” two-piece rod with the Sedona 1000FD spinning reel. Orvis spools the reel with 4lb test mono at no additional charge to complete the outfit. My hat is off to Orvis for expanding its spin fishing line and offering these fine Shimano products."
"I am so pleased that Orvis has expanded its spin fishing line and offers a great selection of Shimano spin fishing rods and reels. I have fly fished exclusively for the last 15 years or so and frankly have forgotten some of the joys of my ultra light spin fishing youth. Bottom line, spin fishing is a great compliment to fly fishing and is often more productive and efficient under certain conditions. Plus, there is no better way to introduce a child to the joys of fishing. I recently purchased the Shimano Sojourn 5’6” spin rod; it is a quality two-piece ultra light travel rod at a great price. Its casting performance is excellent with a 4lb test line and the Sedona reel, which Orvis offers separately or as part of an outfit with this rod."
