Basically a Nice Skirt,

"I like the fabric very much, the drape and the design. It's dressy but not too. Fit is good. However, the placement of the buttons is such that when I sit down, there is a revealing gap between the first and second buttons. I must add a hook and eye, or velcro, or something, because I can't sit down in this skirt the way it is."

didn't work for my mom,

"ordered this skirt for my elderly mother but had to return it because it does not button/unbutton all the way down, only the top three buttons. It was too difficult for her to put on. The description of the skirt was not really clear on that point - it says it is a button-down skirt, and it looks like all the buttons can be unbuttoned. Her challenges aside, she liked the skirt. Bottom line - be sure descriptions are clear."

"I left a flared off white linen Orvis skirt behind in a hotel in Phoenix. It wasn't worth having sent to me in the UK but I miss it a lot. It was a very dense, crisp linen which took a polish when ironed like damask & didn't crease as much as linen usually does.
This one looked like a rag, was more of a yellowy cream than the off white in the picture & seemed longer than the 33" advertised.
I returned it without trying it on & will have to keep looking.
