The lightweight construction of this lambskin bomber offers excellent maneuverability, whether you're strapped into the cockpit or seated behind the wheel. Distinctly military and handsomely understated, this seven-button-front leather jacket features vintage contrast stitching throughout and sports generously sized front slash pockets, a pure cotton-twill lining, and two interior welted pockets for a wallet or phone. "Leather is nice but design is weird pockets were in a strange place to actually use. Looks better on a hanger or in display not a very functional jacket. Once again it was just lambskin nothing exotic about it and the price seems about 200 to 300 dollars more than it should this was a $550 or 650 jacket quality wise."

"Leather cheap, craftsmanship only fair,collar and cuffs oversized, cheap lining.... Definitely not up to Orvis' usually high standards, and way overpriced"

"I have always liked varsity style jackets and this appeared to be the best. Unfortunately, it was not. There were three problems.
1) Although the sleeves were the right length, the rest was a bit too small (size medium in my case).
2) At least one button and several button holes had loose threads--something I would not expect in a jacket in this price range.
3) I often walk with my hands in my pockets on cool days. I could not do that comfortably with this jacket--the pockets are too high.
