"I tried on most all of the high end brands before I tried this Merrell Isadore. The others can't begin to compare. It is so light weight, the fabric is almost like parachute silk, soft and cuddly. It has an exceptional amount of beautiful detailing. The best part is that it is not only warmer than others but it is extremely flattering even to my not so perfect senior figure. The birch color is special...almost has a pale khaki hue to the creamy color. I wasn't crazy about the coat in black. The black seemed more charcoal gray and the detailing doesn't really show up. The coat runs true to size. I hope Orvis carries this coat again next fall as all of my friends love mine and want one of their own."

"Love this coat. It is warm without being bulky. Long enough and warm enough for those cold walks across the office parking lot."
