1⅞ oz. 7', 4-piece, Mid-Flex fly rod for 4-wt. line. A canopy of trees blocks out the sky as patches of sunlight dot the stream in front of you. You followed the blue line on the map, you trailblazed your way up here, and this plunge pool full of eager trout is your reward. Let the 4-weight, 7' Helios 2 help keep your fly out of the trees and on the water. In this instance, it's fine to come up just a bit short. Proudly made in Manchester, Vermont. Why would we take the world's best fly rod and change it? The answer is simple. We're driven by constant improvement. Put this rod in your hands and feel the rush. You'll completely understand.

Review 1 for Helios 2 4-weight 7' Fly Rod—Mid Flex

"I received this rod two weeks ago at 6:00 pm. By 6:45 I was on the South Fork of the Shoshone where I had spend several hours before trying with no luck to get a fly to the far bank structure. This rod did it easily. On my fourth cast I hooked and landed a 23 inch Rainbow. The next day I went to Luce Lake North of Cody on a very windy day (pretty normal for Wyoming). I caught 17 nice 14-16 inch Rainbows. The Helios performed like a champ cutting through the wind like a hot knife thru butter. IAM TOTALLY SOLD ON THIS ROD!!"

"I received the new Helios Rod at 6:00 pm at my home in Cody,Wy. By 6:45 I was on the South Fork of the Shoshone River using it. It cast at least 10-15 feet further than my old Orvis Superfine Touch Rod which allowed me to cast to structure on the far bank. I caught a 23 inch Rainbow. I had been try to get a fly to that structure all summer. The Heios Rod did it. The next day I went to Luce Lake North of Cody and fished. It was very windy as it usually is in Wyoming(they call it big windy Wyoming for a reason). The Helios cut thru the wind like a hot knife thru butter. In two hours I caught 17 Rainbows ranging from 14-18 inches. I had a ball. I absolutely love my new Helios Rod."
