"I've already reviewed these pants---and I didn't give them a good review the first time---but Orvis, for it's own inscrutable reasons, has asked me to say again what I said about these pants the last time----they're terrible. Just terrible. Bagged out so badly after just one wearing that they actually started to fall down. Don't buy these."

"These are very sturdy, quite heavy jeans. Elastic waist without a drawstring means they are easy to get off easily in the bathroom and no bumps at the waist. But beware that the length varies by color. I purchased one pair in Black and one in Indigo. I am 5'1" and I think I can wear the indigo ones without shortening them, but the black pair is at least an inch longer and I'll have to shorten them. They're a bit loose in the waist for me, so if you have a much smaller waist than hips, you may prefer drawstring jeans. I washed both pairs in cold water and they did not shrink"

"I was looking for a comfortable pair of elastic waist jeans for my daily walk with the dogs. I tried several brands which were either too long in the crotch or too baggy or too light weight. These Orvis jeans are perfect....comfortable, sturdy, and a really really good fit."

"Been looking for pull on style casual pants but fail to find any that the material is soft (or will soften when washed) and where the pant legs aren't much wider than expected. I'm not tall so the wider the pant leg the wider I look. NOT a good thing Also on these particular pants, the rise was short, almost as if they were for petites, which I didn't order."

"I ordered two pairs of these pants. Black pair fits perfectly - these gray ones were huge! Don't know why two of the same product were constructed so differently. Returned the gray pants."

"Great having comfort waist jeans and the weight is perfect. Unfortunately, the petite size in both pairs of jeans that I bought is not the length advertised. Each pair is more than an inch longer than stated, even after wash and dry. This means that I have to spend another ten dollars to have them shortened. Previous purchases in petites have also been longer than advertised."

"There was a very similar pair of pants that Orvis stopped making. They replaced the pants with these new ones and I was very pleased to get them. They are very comfortable and true to size. I will be ordering more."

"I was very disappointed in these jeans. I thought I was ordering a different product and obviously made a mistake. These are not nearly as nice as other jeans I have gotten from Orvis and definitely not worth the price. I ordered them in black and I thought the fabric was very cheap looking and feeling. The fit was not good either and I returned them."

"These pants fit fairly nice except they are a little too long so I had to shorten them about 1 1/2 or 2 inches. I am 5'4" and am kind of in-between the regular and petite sizes. I washed them on hot and they shrunk just slightly. I like that this style is less baggy on the front as opposed to the drawstring style that I plan to return.
I like this style so much that I ordered a pair in another color as well. I work retail but can be casual at work and these will be super comfortable."

"The store did not have this product but the salesperson suggested I try another denim pant for sizing. The size of the ordered pants was not any where near the size of the pant that I tried on in the store. Therefore, I had to place another order with a different size."
