"This is my fifth whisper cardigan, I have a blue,pink and three bone. I just love wearing them they are so cosy and look smart. They wash well and still remain in good shape. The only one I do not have is the green, So that would next! The staff are very helpfull and do their best to please the customer. Many thanks to you all. Its so nice when you get good helpfull staff."

"This is a very comfortable, warm sweater. Looks good in the "elm" colour, but wonder if it would look as good in the baby blue or pink versions as it calls to mind one of those old-style, nubbly bedspreads. Anyway it works in "elm" and I'm glad to have it."

"Pros: Cardigan is attractive and warm. The color I ordered (a soft green) is nice and is neutral.
Cons: The sweater has an odd chemical smell that has not disappeared after washing it. The yarn also has an odd almost sticky feel to it."

"The cardigan is fine, but as it was declared "in stock" on a UK site, I was dismayed to find that it was being dispatched from the USA! This is a waste of resources and I will think twice about ordering from you again."

"This is my second Whisper-Soft Cardigan. Not only do I love it, but my husband actually encouraged me to buy another one. I love the pastel colors, reminding me of Spring. The notch at the top allows one to wear a pendant with it as well."

"As soon as I took this out of the packet I realised my mistake in ordering it , the colour was baby pink, the material was like old fashioned bed spread, the button colour didn't match the cardigan and when I tried it on it had no shape. Dreadful, the picture in the catolog and on line are deceiving."

"Gave this sweater to my 90 year old mother. She loves it. Color(blue) is just the right shade to go with almost everythng.This sweater is soft and warm. Found that I had to order smaller size than usual."

"Fabric is thick and I felt like I was bubble wrapped. Ordered Medium and I am normally 8-10 but this was snug and sleeves were way too short. Loved the yellow color as it was a nice lemon without being bright but the fit was horrible. Good if you are petite. Sent it back."

"This cardigan is simply awful. It has a boxy design and the length (at waist) of it is very short, while the sleeves are long enough. The weave of the chenille is such that it doesn't hold a shape very well. It also has a bad smell to it. Couldn't be more dissatisfied. I am returning it."

"I really like everything about this sweater except the fact that it's a little too big around the hem.Which makes it look boxy on me. I think it would work better perhaps on someone a little shorter. (I am 5' 9") It is very soft and the color blue was just what I was looking for."

"I love my sweater. It launders great!But...... when I ordered it again this year the sizing was different. I don't know if Orvis realizes that the manufacturers have reduced the size of the garment. It's OK but it's not what I purchased last year."
