"I used these hooks to fish in the Bahamas and they held up well and setting the hook was easy because they are so sharp. Be careful however when tying with these hooks they are so sharp I added some blood to the fly. One suggestion is get a small eraser and cover the hook while tying."
"A stout shorter shank streamer hook. I tie flies for carp, bass, and redfish on them & they do well. Obviously will work for bonefish flies, but has a much broader application as well. Even works nicely as the lead hook of a two-hook articulated fly for trout, like we commonly use in AR chasing browns."
