Blue Quill
An early season mayfly, the Paraleptophlebia comes off after the water temperature rises above 50 degrees and stays there for a few days. This is generally the first mayfly hatch of the season, followed by the Quill Gordons and then the Hendricksons. These small dry flies are fished with light tippets.
