Jim Cannon of Blue Quill Angler in Evergreen, Colorado has been in the business for many years. His excellent Blue Wing Olive fly pattern covers a number of other species and sizes and uses a rabbit fur wing for durability, visibility, and great floatation. This is a very proven fly pattern and one Blue Wing Olive you shouldn't be without. Fly in sizes: Trico (20, 22, 24), PMD (16, 18, 20), Baetis (16, 18, 20)

"I purchased a doz of these flies through the Orvis newspaper. At first I was a bit skeptical, but I tell you now, this fly catches fish.
The other day I got into some browns that were tearing up the water and by the time I finished fishing, my fly was beat up and bearly recognizeable.
I'd definately buy more of these."
