Great Windbreaker,
May 17, 2013
By: Noremac
from Virginia
"This lightweight jacket is just what I needed for early spring when the days can be cold, windy, and rainy. The outer shell is tight, water repellant, and the collar and zipper closures keep the weather out. I bought the large and find the jacket sized just right for wearing a shirt and sweater for those cooler days without looking bulky. The zipper closure works great; opens and closes without jamming. The two inside breast pockets are sized perfectly for a wallet or sunglasses. Overall styling is perfect for business casual or with jeans. This was a great purchase!"

good lightweight jacket,
May 16, 2013
By: keysersoze77
from Houston, TX
"I bought this to have a nice lightweight jacket that I could wear in the spring and fall when it is barely cool enough to wear a jacket. I wanted something that wasn't quite as dressy as a sport coat, but dressy enough that I could wear it to a nice restaurant and carry concealed. This jacket is exactly what I needed for a sporty "sharp casual" look."

Weatherbreaker Jacket,
May 1, 2013
By: Higgsboson
from NY NY
"I thought the jacket was a lighter weight by the way it looks in the photo- When I opened the package I was very impressed with the quality and overall construction. Really superior - but trying it on I felt it was too much jacket for what I wanted .
I wanted light weight - this one is not a summer jacket- but great jacket none the less.

Flashback,
April 19, 2013

"I had tan jackets just like this in high school and college. The last one mysteriously disappeared in the Bahamas during a spring break junket. Good fit, good look and if I take it on a trip, I will take better care of it."

Great Purchase,
March 17, 2013
By: Ferm
from East Lansing, MI
"I had a similar jacket back in my college days (45 plus years ago) and loved it. Been looking for a similar jacket for years, Now I have one and I love it just like my original. It's stylish, comfortable and everything I was hoping for. I was hesitant to order, because I'm 6'6" and concerned that the XLT would be long enough. It was and I'm grateful for that. Orvis needs to make known what products will fit someone my size and height. I know I would buy more if I could be sure they would fit. Anyway I love my new jacket."

Poor Lining choice,
March 13, 2013
By: RMGinNoVA
"While many things about the jacket I liked, the lining was not one of them and caused me to return the product. The lining had a finish, or the lack of one, that caused it to cling and grab to all other fabrics making it difficult to put the jacket on. Kudos for other design features like cuffs, collar, cut, etc."

A good near-miss,
March 11, 2013
By: roadready75
from Palos Verdes Estates, CA
"I bought this to replace a favorite windbreaker that I lost. It is indeed a classic, with two disappointing shortcomings.
There is no inside pocket, which is a serious inconvenience. I've never owned another jacket that didn't have one. Unfortunately, I had worn it a couple of times before discovering this so couldn't return it.
The side pockets are set a bit farther back than usual, making them slightly awkward to reach into."
