"After losing a nice rainbow and my fly because I did not have a net I had
to stop at the local Orvis store. I purchase a mid size Brodin net. The net looks nice, feels good in your hand and has a nice deep net. I also purchased the magnetic net holder. Everything looks good and functions greet, wish the price was a little lower."

"I bought this net a few years ago and have used it for a couple seasons now. The wood is beautiful, especially if you get the personalization, but the net quality is low. I had the stitching rip apart when caught on brush (not the pocket of the net, just the thread holding the net to the frame) and had to replace it with something stronger. It's beautiful, but if you fish often and through thick stuff, you're going to get it beaten..."

"You would think that net is a net. Not so. There are certain features a net needs to have if it is to be a useful tool when trying to land a trophy (and unhappy) trout/bass/crappie, etc. Strength and durablility are obvious, but balance is equally important. And similar to a golf club, you have to like what you are looking at. Orvis Brodin have all of these features. I have used these nets for quite some time and like them so well, I have two of them..."
