"This fly is a real producer. Can be stripped or a true dry.
Browns love it most of the season."

Big Brown caught on the Bugmeister
"The bugmeister fly is an amazing fly. Bass, bluegills, and especially big brown trout. While fishing small creeks in Colorado with grassy, undercut banks, you know the ones I am talking about, the big browns would explode on this fly. Twitched along the grassy banks, can produce some huge hits. The fly also floats very well, and the wire around the body, makes it very durable. The fly is also easy to see on the water, because of the wings, and post, plus it tends to ride high in the water. In the fall, I fish this fly with a dropper, and it works great. This fly can't be beat. Enjoy, troutbum"

"back before i started tying i ordered 4 of the bugmeister in size 10 and used them on the tennessee river in alabama,in 2 trips, the wife and i totally wore out those 4 flys on bream and bass.they were still hitting it after being shredded and would`nt even float right.i got some more to fish and to remember how to tie them.i had the golden colored ones.great for clear water summer time fish."
