Mikkleson's Epoxy Bait Fish

This is quite possibly the best and most durable sand eel/silverside epoxy fly you can buy. Flies have excellent movement in the tail with a rock solid epoxy body that holds a perfect profile. Swims beautifully and will last fish after fish. Epoxy flies are often used in fly tournaments because of their great durability and effectiveness. Sizes 2. Length 3".

"Purchased this to use as a teaser with striper rig. Held up very well in rough surf conditions. Though no stripers were caught, this teaser did yield four fluke. Good movement in the water particularly with rainfish and other small bait prevalent."

"I've been fly fishing all of my life and this is one of the best baitfish patters I've seen. From the smallmouth rivers of WV to the Salt Water in Alaska this is the fly to go with. It's incredibly durrible and imitates a wide range of juvinial and baitfish on wich the monsters feed. During July and Early August this is the only fly you'll see on my line for Pink Salmon on the flats on Kodiak Island Alaska. With a yellow top the Silvers don't shy away from it either."
