"I highly recommend this sweatshirt. It is excellent for playing golf, fishing or just to wear on one of those cold damp days. It looks great and is very comfortable. I have worn it with jeans and dress pants. It is stylish and comes in numerous beautiful colors."

"I use this product over either button down shirt or turtleneck. Plenty of room to wear a secondary shirt.
One small drawback is that band at bottom of at waist lost some of its definition after washing."

"I ordered this sweatshirt for my husband and he loved it so I just ordered a second one. Very soft and it looks great on him. In a cotton short or log sleeve shirt he wears a large but other reviews indicated this sweatsgurt ran big so I ordered him a medium and it fits great and still has some room in it. Quality is excellent. Great value for the price."

"Got this as a gift for my brother. I followed the advice in the reviews about the generous sizing, so ordered the next size down. I also saw comments that the Carrot color was not too vibrant, so ordered that because he looks good in mango and tangerine oranges. When I received it, I thought it is really a carrot color and might be too vibrant (think "traffic cone orange" or "hunters' blaze orange"), but gave it to my brother with the encouragement to tell me if the color was too much for him. He tried it on and decided that the orange was too vibrant, and also that he needed the next size up because it was a bit snug. So I replaced it with the blue color he chose, and in his normal size. It is soft and comfortable ... just wish there were more colors from which to choose, as the ones offered are either boring or too bright."

"Well designed. Multifunctional. Correct fit. Appearance and feel of a well designed sweater. Comfort and durability of a sweatshirt. I haven't had it long enough to comment on how it stands up in the wash. After my first purchase was involved in an accident involving some bleach, I replaced it with two more. Olive and Raisin and I'm completely satisfied with my purchase."

"This was the first item I've ever purchased from Orvis, and it exceeded any expectations I had. Extremely comfy, great color, great fit, perfect weight. The list goes on. Like everyone says, order a size down and it will fit perfect, unless you're wearing something very thick underneath. Do your best not to put it in the dryer, it WILL shrink. I hang mine up and it stays the same. The price is a little high, but you get what you pay for, TOP quality. Will not be looking back to the inferior sweatshirts I've owned previously, and Orvis just gained a customer for life. I am completely satisfied with this purchase."

"I love these because they look a little dressy and feel very casual. This is one of the warmest sweatshirts I've warn. I now own 3 of them. The only improvement I would like to see is a bit smaller bottom elastic so the sweatshirt gathers at you waste rather than hanging straight down. I suppose that's just a personal preference though."
