Refined Flannel in the English Style,
January 21, 2014
By: abunburyist

"These shirts from H&H are very fine. They are made of a very thin flannel type material; so thin that it seems only a bit thicker than the average cotton dress shirt. However it is much thinner than most flannel shirts and the material is densely woven so that it looks like a dress shirt, which makes it extremely comfortable, but looks rather less so and far more formal. There is more room in the shoulders than any shirt I have ever seen, so much so that despite ordering a slightly smaller shirt than I need, My arms move freely to the shooting position unencumbered.Good fabric: light and thin, though still very dense it looks as if it will last and wear well. Fine enough to wear to church or to a proper shoot but as comfortable as the flannel shirts that have been worn around American cabins for centuries, just less bulky. Warm and very soft. Fine enough for church on Sunday, comfortable enough to leave on all day."
