"The fit and finnish one the knife I recieved is excellent and the blade is razor sharp. The liner lock works flawlessly. This is the most handsome knife I have ever owned a true gentlemans pocketknife."

"Like the girls I like to have around me. Seriously, can carry it anywhere without it being noticed. But there is no easy way to open it like a nail nick or a thumb stud."

"This Italian made gentleman's pocket knife (clearly not intended for me... ;-)) is a beautiful and functional knife that I will cherish and use and then pass along to one of my sons.
At first glance, it is gorgeous - wood and steel in a perfect combination. It opens smoothly and feels sturdy in your hand; the fine craftsmanship shows in the steel, the wood and the small components.
After two days with it, I am still wandering around looking for something else to open or cut with it. Orvis did well to include this in the catalog.
I have one complaint: this lovely handcrafted tool comes in a cheap tin container that - in my case - even had a dent in it. Imagine one of those grey tin jobs that inexpensive headsets are found in and that is what you see. I suggest that for an additional $10 to the total price, Orvis should provide a fine presentation box to complement the quality of the knife.
That said, this is a lovely knife and will last for generations."

Cutting Edge Choice,
December 31, 2012

"For the man who has everything, this was a perfect gift. He admired the color of the wood in the handle and the size and style of the knife, so I ordered it as a surprise Christmas gift. I then had to hide all Orvis catalogs that came in because he kept saying he was going to order it for himself! He loved the surprise and loves the knife."
