Helle Nying Knife

For nearly a century, Helle has supplied Scandinavian hunters and anglers with distinctive, quality knives, focusing on craftsmanship rather than large assembly lines or automated production. The Nying Scandinavian knife is a classic Nordic design, with a short, stubby, stainless-steel blade and generously proportioned curly birch handle that provides a substantial grip even in cold weather. Blade is triple laminated for added durability. Attractive leather sheath is fitted with a keeper strap, which engages a stud on the pommel for secure storage. Blade: 2¾". Handle: 3½". Overall length: 6¼". Stainless steel and curly birch. Imported.

Functional Presentation Piece,
May 20, 2013
from Southern New Jersey
"I recently went fly fishing with my son for the first time. After finishing playing football at Harvard I felt it was time to introduce him to pursuits he can enjoy for a lifetime. The Helle Nying Knife was the perfect piece of gear to commemorate the event and accompany him for many years in the field and on the water."

Cool Knife!,

"Being of Norwegian ancestry, I have become a fan of Helle knives. The workmanship is wonderful yet this appears to be a tough, usable knife. The stubby blade is very substantial and the handle fits well in one's hand. The keeper strap engaging a brass stud on the pommel is a nice touch and very functional."
