Barbour® Women's Morris Utility Jacket
Barbour's versatile, slightly fitted, multi-pocketed jacket is as ideal for chilly days outdoors in the country as it is for running errands and shopping in town. This women's jacket features quilted midweight 6-oz. Barbour Sylkoil waxed cotton with soft, pure cotton lining enlivened with a lush floral print from the William Morris archives. Plush moleskin-lined convertible stand collar. Rugged antiqued bronze front zip with snap storm flap. Roomy flap-top patch pockets. Finished with moleskin-binding trim. 100% cotton throughout. Sponge clean only. Imported.Barbour heritage fit in sizes 4-18, about 28" long.

Wax + Hay = not good,

"I needed a barn jacket but when I return from the barn, the jacket is covered with small bits of hay on my arms. I have to take it off and shake as much as I can as not to carry all that hay in the house. Not much of the hay comes off with shaking If I had to do it all over again I would not. The jacket is well made that is not the problem at all.The wax is sticky for hay. I wish I had been warned."

"The limited edition lining in this classic Barbour is simply gorgeous. As a well cared for Barbour lasts no fewer than 20 years it's truly a good investment, (they can be re-waxed quite easily). This style is much more fitted than prior ones I've owned, a nice modern update while still a classic shape you can wear for a lifetime. If you like to wear layers I'd suggest ordering two sizes up not just one."

"My wife has a good figure at 5 foot 2 and weighs 110 Lbs. I bought a size 4. The coat has a very tailored and fits her figure perfectly. However, I don’t think she could wear a thick cable wool sweater with it and still have enough room to move comfortably when all zipped up. I thought about moving on to a size 6 but the sleeves would likely be too long.
The quality of this coat is outstanding. It has a rich but comfortable look. The zippers and button are very durable and will last for many years. It completely blocks the wind and rain and when paired up with a nice sweater or light liner, this coat is incredibly warm without being too hot and uncomfortable. Worth every penny!"

"This coat is beautiful, extremely well-made, but did not flatter me. It was made for someone a little more busty. I am sorry it did not fit. Have ordered another Barbour jacket and hope it will fit better!"

Classic comfort and style,

"The Morris "Strawberry Thief" print liner caught my eye. Maybe I live under a rock, but I never heard of Barbour before. Love the classic style/function of this coat. The fit is perfect (slightly fitted/tailored and very slimming!) and I appreciate the tabs at the waist to adjust as needed. The olive green is very dark and rich with a slight sheen to it. The liner is cotton, and there is no insulation. The product description on the website stated it was quilted, which is not true (wish it were) but I've stayed warm, dry & comfortable during cold/wet weather. Good thing I ordered up one size to accomodate additional layers. Yes, it's a splurge, but it's a well made & beautiful jacket that I'll appreciate for many years to come. The liner makes me smile..."
