"I oprdered this jacket in size Large whoich is normally my size. Tiurns out size Large in this item is like size small. Unfortunately they did not have an XL or XXL so I gave it to my wife!"

A Disappointing Gift!,

"I have made a quite a number of Barbour purchases over the last few years. This was the first time I've ever had a problem. The recipient tried to get it on and had to stop because it would have ripped. It was embarrassing for all of us. It was at least two sizes too small, just ridiculous. Everyone felt awkward and the offer to buy something else was politely rebuffed. Orvis is a wonderful company but Barbour made a huge mistake with this item that needs to be corrected."

"Stylish sweater that could double as a light jacket for a crisp fall/Spring day. It looks bulky folded up but it feels light when actually wearing it. Sizing is a fitted style meant to be worn close to the body. So if you like a loose fit, you may want to order a size larger. I wear a 42R or 43R suit. Usually an X-large fits me. When I got this in an X-large it was a snug fit. The shoulders fit perfectly with no overhang. I chose to return it and get an XX-large because I would rather have a slightly loose fit."

Warm Jacket but order larger size!!,

"When I received the jacket, I ordered a large as I normally do. However, the large was like a medium at best so I reordered and obtained an extra-large. This size fit perfectly. It's a warm jacket, stylish and comfortable but order one size larger than you take."
