These Snakeproof full-coverage chaps feature Turtleskin® Snake Armor™, a patented ultra-tight weave of high-strength ballistic fibers tested on live diamondbacks. Incredibly lightweight, the durable thorn- and briar-resistant material weighs one-third the weight of traditional chaps, offering a breathable and comfortable alternative to waxed cotton. Hunt all day without fatigue or fear of a snake bite. Turtleskin hunting chaps in khaki. Circumference at thigh is 25". Polyester/ballistic fibers. Made in USA.Long: 33"-35" inseam.

"Disclaimer here - I have been wearing TurtleSkin Chaps for years. Pleasantly surprised to see them on the Orvis site.
Snakes or not, these chaps are great quality, comfortable and well worth the cost. I can wear them all day in Kansas and forget I have them on. Takes a bit of break-in, but not much. They keep you dry and have the best thorn protection I have seen. Side zipper is really convenient."
