Women's Silver Sonic Convertible-Top Waders
Over the years, the most common feedback we've received from female anglers is that we haven't offered any women's chest waders that were truly designed with women in mind. Until now. Introducing our new women's Silver Sonic Convertible-Top Waders. After taking input and suggestions from a large number of female anglers, we started over from scratch and designed a wader built specifically for women. We tested them on a wide variety of body types, made tweaks and adjustments, and we think the results speak for themselves. Never again will you have to borrow a pair of waders. We have your size.

"I bought the medium/petite size waders. I'm 5'5" 135lb and they fit PERFECTLY! I LOVE the inner water proof pocket. I also love that they drop down to waist waders for those warm days. They are not baggy and are as comfortable as waders get. I had to use the aqua seal that it comes with and am grateful they sent it along. I spend 75+ days a year in waders and have been through 3 pairs in one year of a different brand because they kept leaking. Leaks no more!"

"Waders have always been too long in the leg and too big in the neoprene booty but not the Silver Sonic wader. The petite wader actually fits my inseam and I don't have to fold over the booties in my boot. I love the way they look and feel, I was even told that they were very flattering while on the river. Definitely, a first for me!
The waterproof pocket is perfect for my phone or keys but I like that I can remove it for storage elsewhere or easier access.
The features and economic price made these waders stand out for me, but the comfort on the water has converted me over from my previous brands and models. I love these waders!!"

"I could never find waders that fit me right and always ended up with mens waders that were to long and bulky. Then I tried the Women's Silver Sonic Convertible-Top Waders, and they fit like a glove. Its so nice to go fishing and NOT have extra materal to worry about in the length. Love the features, love these waders, Thank You Orvis!"

"I spent last weekend fishing the Manistee River for a whole day and walking up and down the Sturgeon River the next day in these new waders. I loved them and after buying several different pairs and returning them....I believe I have found my favorite pair of waders! The fit is amazing!"

"I haven't used these waders yet and it may be a little while before I do, so thought I would at least comment on the size, etc. I thought measurements were true. I am 5'2" around 112 and the small 30's seems great. I don't like waders fitting so tight in the feet that they are hard to get off, so these are perfect, not too big or small (especially with 2 pairs of socks that I wear.) I like the pockets a lot. I haven't figured out the convertible system yet, but seems ok. Construction seems good, perhaps a little stiff, probably a tad thinner than my usual Simms waders. Color is probably a little better than pictured, nice two toned tan. The waders look and feel nice, so hopefully they will hold up to the elements."

"These waders are stylish, hardy, and comfortable. Having used men's waders for years, it is so nice to have a women's specific fit that is flattering and easy to wade, hike, or row in! I've had a number of friends of all shapes and sizes try them out, and they look good on everyone. My first season with them has just begun, but the look is sleek, and they've performed phenomenally so far. I'm also excited about getting many dry, happy years out of these bomb-proof Silver Sonic seams. Thank you Orvis for making a fierce technical wader for women that is also so fashionable!"

"I bought these for my wife. She tried them on as soon as they were delivered and they fit her perfectly. It's nice to have waders that are truly made to fit her. We won't be able to find out if they leak until the water thaws but expect They will be of Orvis quality."

"I love these waders! The fit is very good and the waders are comfortable. The variety of size choices are excellent allowing me to finally wear waders that fit without being too long or having too much bunched up fabric around the waist and hips. Since I tend to lose at least one gravel guard a year, I really like the attached gravel guards! The convertible function is nice for hot summer days."

"Simply put; these waders are awesome. If you're looking for a pair of female specific waders that will take you wherever your fishing adventures find you; these are them. I have worn them trekking into the backcountry, getting in and out of the boat, guiding in all kinds of conditions. They are not only comfy, but super durable. "Finally, waders that have a great fit, are awesomely comfortable, durable and still maximize movement and flexibility! They're comfy whether you're hiking, wading or rowing. The booties are very well-designed and don't crinkle up in my boots like other waders. Love the waterproof pouch for phone/keys, too!"

Being 5’10” I’ve always had to resort to purchasing men’s fishing gear, which always worked for what I needed but never gave the ideal look or fit that a body with height and hips needed, thank you Orvis for developing flattering, quality gear for your lady customers, especially your tall lady customers!! "They are extremely comfortable and fit well. I especially like the bootie design as they don't bunch up in my wading boots. I spent a day recently doing a lot of walking and didn't get the hot spots on my heels I was getting in my other waders (and I thought the boots where to blame!). And these waders dry FAST.
Not only are they functional, but they look great, too. I've had friends tell me I look like I'm wearing a nice pair of khakis."

"I'm incredibly lucky to have been involved in the development and field testing process for these waders. I've been fishing a pair since last August (the convertible function came in handy in the heat!) and I've officially retired my other waders. The silver sonics are incredibly comfortable - I can now focus on my fishing instead of adjusting surplus bootie fabric or struggling with a maxed out inseam. They're lightweight, but durable (they've withstood numerous slides down banks and a good bit of bushwhacking), and offer all of the great features found in the men's version. I'm a huge fan of the removable waterproof pocket - I can pull it out to load my cell phone and keys, zip it closed, and slap it back into my waders using the velcro. Love these waders!"

"The sizing charts provided for the Women's Silver Sonic waders were accurate and I was able to order a good fit. The neoprene boot design is especially nice and eliminated any excess material in my wading boots. The clear front pocket is generous in size and easily accessible."
