Nice, but not what I expected.,

"First the bad... I returned the first pair. When they were received, there was no button hole in the waist for the button closure.
Now the good... Orvis was fantastic about the return. They shipped a new pair immediately before I even returned the original pair. Excellent customer service.
The pants fit well and are true to size. The material is not your typical "chino" material. I was expecting a heavier twill fabric. This is a softer cotton fabric. The lining is wonderful, making the pants a great wear for winter and cooler use.
The last detail that I think is missing is that the closure on the front is only a single button. There is no "french fly", which I think this pant should have given its weight and cost. It would be a recommended detail in the change of the construction of this pant.
I would still recommend them if you are looking for a lighter weight lined chino, but for the above reasons, I give it only 3 stars."

"I had high expectations and was disappointed because I thought the fabric would be heavier and it felt thin and inexpensive. The seams were simple and the lining seemed rather thin too.I'm sorry but I was not impressed and sent them back."
