"Loved the fit and color of this sweater and still do, however, I would not have purchased if I had read previous reviews. I, too, experienced MAJOR disappointment of the pilling under sleeves and on front. I paid way too much for this poor product and think Orvis should compensate me in some manner!!"

"Purchased not one but two of these cardigan sweaters. After wearing this sweater only a couple of times -- it developed "pills"or fuzz balls all over the underarm and chest area. Please -- Orvis may the quality of your imports match your high price point. Disappointing all around."

"After looking for ages for a zip front, gray wool sweater, I finally found the replacement for the ancient one I hated to give up. I am so unhappy with the pilling and yet hate to return it. The price was a bit high for such a big disappointment"

"Usually I am very happy with the products I order from Orvis but I have just had an unhappy experience. I brought the cardigan with me on a trip with the expectation of wearing it to several events. After wearing it for one day it is covered with pills especially on the sleeves and front. It looks terrible. I paid a lot more for this sweater than I usually pay so I am doubly disappointed. I would not recommned this product."
