Really great pants,

"My husband loves these pants. He thinks they are one of the most comfortable pairs of pants he's ever worn. Even though the fabric is heavy and can withstand the construction workplace, they do not bind and he can move freely."

"This is my second pair of Targhee Twill Pants. I bought the first pair to see how they would last and compare to my usual brand of kakis. Just bought a second pair. Great look and great comfort."

A new favorite...,

"These pants have quickly pushed similar one's from other companies out of my wardrobe. They look and feel fantastic. The details from the triple stitched seams, to the fit set these apart from other pairs of similar pants I've owned. I'm relatively slim at 6' 1" 180lbs and have found these to be a great fit in 34x32. They taper slightly through the thigh and knee which I appreciate so they don't look overly baggy. The gusseted crotch makes for great mobility and comfort. I picked two pairs up and both pairs have seen everything from travel, to hikes, to everyday jaunts. Definitely give these a shot if you're looking for a great wearing all around pant that's not overly bulky."

Great Pants,

"Have had these for a few months now an I'm very happy with them. I wear a 36/30 pant and that's what I got and they fit perfectly even after several washings. They look great whether I'm wearing them with a T-shirt, sweater, vest or blazer. They seem to go with anything casual dress or casual. They are comfortable and I only wish they came in more colors, I'd get more of them."

"These are a very nice pair of field pants. Like the product description states, they work under a blazer or with a flannel shirt. The fit is very consistent."

Comfortable and Tough!,
January 10, 2013
By: VogonPoetry
"Love the triple stitching and the fit. The pants are comfortable and durable without being baggy. I can't stand pants that bag around your feet and have tons of extra fabric in the legs, which alot of cargo/outdoor pants tend to do. These pants are a "regular" fit--neither too slim nor too "relaxed" (marketing euphemism for baggy city). Would really like to see more colors added such as dark olive or light khaki."

"I've been looking for a pair of cool weather pants that I can wear to the office in the morning, and into the field that afternoon. These pants are the hands down winner in that category. A great product!"

Great pants,

"I bought a pair at the Chicago store and wore them for the first time today. The heavy but soft twill fabric is SO comfortable. I got back online tonight hoping to find them offered in another color. Sadly, they just come in the British tan. They are destined to be in my closet for years to come. Get a pair - you will be glad."

Disappointed,
December 24, 2012
By: Santafield

"I was very excited to finally try a pair of Orvis pants. I wore these at home the first evening after purchasing. With no washing, and just a couple hours wear, the button on the back pocket broke off. I returned them and got a new pair. After one washing the button on the back pocket broke off agian. I am spending part of Christmas eve sewing on a new button."

Not a best buy,
November 9, 2012

"Nice pants overall and good for what they are but they appear to be made by the same firm that manufactures Mountain Khakis - Teton Twills to be exact. Orvis charges a premium for its logo. Save money and buy the MK pants which also come in more colors."

"Recieved these pants only to see that the color on the website is not the color of the actual product. Other than that and the fit being a little smaller than normal, these are of the typical Orvis quality."
