Close, but no cigar...,

"I am a huge fan of Orvis products and truly appreciate their value.
But on this shirt...not so much.
Great cut, great look, and had really high hopes.
But, and I wonder if it's the tencel, every time I touch the shirt--espeically if we're in a restaurant or eating--it leaves a smudge.
Don't get me wrong--the shirt is cool but if i mindlessly touch the shirt at the wrong time you can hear my, "grrr...." and know it's headed for yet another washing.
Lots of other great sweatshirts on offer but for close to $100 with shipping and taxes...would tell you to take a pass on this one."

"Orvis has broadened the definition of "sweatshirt" with this product. Not for raking leaves, but rather a go-to piece suitable for a wide variety of occasions. Material is incredibly soft and easily maintained. Purchased the "orange" sweatshirt for my husband. It is a muted orange that compliments khaki, navy, brown pants. Works equally well over a turtleneck, shirt, or crew neck t-shirt. Runs a little large, but nice for layering and not too confining. I will purchase at least two more of these in the new future! Thanks Orvis!"

"Fabric has a nice hand, i.e. feel, and a lusterous finish. Looks great! The sweater is less generously cut than other's I've tried... which is a benefit for someone of medium build, 5'10 in height."
