Our beefy Cottage Cotton in a dense Shaker-stitch knit takes the form of a classic shawl-collar cardigan. Clasped at the waist with a leather strap, antiqued-brass buckle, and push-pin closure. Ribbed trim. Shawl-collar cardigan sweater in natural, cornsilk, loden, berry. 100% cotton. Washable. Imported.Sizes: XS(4), S(6-8), M(10-12), L(14-16), XL(18-20); about 25" long.

"This is a nice well made sweater. I ordered a medium, using the size chart, and it was too big, both in length and width. I returned it. I am 5'4". A taller person would find the style more flattering."

"I cannot get the leather buckle open on the sweater so I have to step into it or pull it over my head to get it on even though it's a cardigan. Also, it seems to gap at the buckle so I have to pin it underneath to hold the two sides together."

"Was expecting a bit brighter color from photo in catalog, but wearing it a lot. Just right for the temperatures this fall. Wearing it with slacks and your paisley print broom skirt. Also carrying an Orvis backpack/purse in the same color. Many ask where I got the outfit. Hope they all head to Orvis."

"The sweater is exactly as pictured. It is cozy and actually a little heavier than I imagined. The leather closure is a little difficult but might become easier once the leather softens with use. It is well-made, fits nicely. The sweeping hem and low closure gives this comfortable and practical sweater a nice style boost."
