"These are so warm and comfortable. I do wish they came in more colors. For me, stretch in a fabric is more comfortable than the 100% cotton which doesn't move with you as well. I'll be happy to purchase more if they came in black, dark green, navy, etc. I normally take extra-large, but these in large size are just right."

"I nearly returned this order owing to 3 features I would address in future production: 1. the waist is rather chunky and would be better with a flat elasticized band. 2. the rise is about an inch too short, but seems to loosen with wear. 3. the corduroy is a one-way only stretch and would be more comfortable in a 2-way stretch. But I kept these cords and have worn them a full day with growing appreciation."

"These are incredible cords. I don't ususally like pants with elastic in the waist but these fit perfectly without bagging or binding.They are heavy enough for winter and they have good deep pockets. The Earl Grey color seems to go with everything ...sort of a medium grey with just a touch of lavender."

"The fit was strange. I don't like front zippers, but if there's an elasticized waist it shouldn't be so lumpy and bulky. It gave me a huge stomach! Why not have a flat stomach, with only the sides and back elasticized. Especially with such bulky material as wide wale corduroy."

"I appreciate Orivs including Petite sizing in their women's clothing. The Stretch Cord Easy-Fitting Pants were not in the Petite category but I thought I'd try them in XS to see if they fit. I wear 4 Petite. I'd loved to say they fit but sadly no, the XS pants were much too long and too big. I hope Orvis will expand its Petites category so that more of the clothing I'd like to wear is available. These were nice pants and if they'd fit, I'd have kept them. As it is, I had to return them."

"I ordered the "stretch corduroy" pants which I hoped would be the same as 2 pairs I have ordered from Orvis in previous years and I love them, but they are almost worn out. This fabric is thicker and not as comfortable as the old pants.
It is a huge disappointment - I had to return them and now will have to pay about $16 total for shipping both ways !!!"

"These pants are made of super-heavy corduroy, which will work for me, but the designers folded it over and stitched a tunnel to make the waistband. Two layers of the corduroy around the waist looks terrible. I like the fit and cut so much that I am keeping them and taking them to a tailor to re-do, but be warned."
